" Food was unbelievable it was so great.. My husband had the spaghetti with the bolognese sauce and I had the chicken Marsala. We wound up sharing my chicken marsala it was so good and taking home the spaghetti.. huge portions of food, you can see they are in the business to be a restaurant.. The only reason we gave 4 stars instead of 5 was. Because of the waitress. She was a bit un attentive . If you are looking for a restaurant that is small, not a chain, mom n pop, place, this is it.. you might want to go early as we seen it starts to fill up around 6:30 / 7 pm "
" We came here strictly based on Yelp reviews. Could not have been happier. Ordered a 10" veggie pizza, Greek salad, pepperoni/cheese pizza and Chicken Daniella. The pizzas were made by hand. We were able to watch the pizza chef make our pies. His work station was immaculate. Everything in its own place. The pizza chef didn't touch anything that wasn't going on the pizza. This is huge for me after working so many years in kitchens. The crusts were crispy but still doughy. Cooked to perfection. Sauce was a touch bitter and he used the perfect amount. The fresh mozzarella was amazing. The veggies were fresh and plentiful. Greek salad was a good size. Fresh lettuce. Crisp red onions. Lots of creamy chunks of feta. Dressing was on the side and was a nice balsamic vinaigrette (my choice). Chicken Daniella was amazing. Fresh slabs of mozzarella atop perfectly cooked chicken breasts. Also had a fresh slice of tomato and a piece of broccoli. Served with a tomato and white wine sauce. Was amazing and fresh. Served with a side of penne that was "al dente" and topped with homemade tomato sauce. A nice touch of class was the bottle of water for our table and the fresh bread with olive oil/seasoning for dipping. This was a great find. Would definitely come back here again. Next time it will be for lunch. Lots of calzones and Stromboli's that they stop serving at 4pm"
" I'm a local in the Grand Strand area. Despite the abundance of venues, sometimes I feel like I am living in a restaurant desert because too many places rely on frozen, re-heated products. Ducati's is the Italian restaurant oasis in this desert, and I can't stop raving. The atmosphere is casually elegant; the service was polite and friendly. Most importantly, the food is fresh, flavorful, and cozy. I ordered a chicken parm/eggplant rollatini special served with penne marinara, a nice salad, and fresh baked bread. The breading on the chicken & eggplant was light, crispy, not overdone. Everything was seasoned perfectly. And the marinara...Amazing. The salad was completely fresh and gorgeous. The bread and foccacia were delicious and not overly dense or oily. I didn't realize until I ate this meal that I had been craving delicious italian food for years. Now, I am completely satisfied and eager to return."
" Found Ducati's on a recent youth sporting event in area. First visited for take-out lunch. We had the Italian wedge sandwiches. Excellent cold cuts, fresh rolls, and right amount of seasoning and dressing. We also had a hand tossed cheese pizza which was very good. Home run! Returned next day for dinner with another family. Bread - awesome. Salad and house dressing - excellent. Bruschetta- some of the best ever had. Lobster/asparagus ravioli special - outstanding. Chicken Parmigiana- very good. We had two house specials with Shrimp - very good. Gnocchi- ok. Service was outstanding. Owner visited table to check on us which we appreciated. Inside the park home run. Third occasion - Ducati's catered our baseball team dinner. Salad, baked ziti, chicken parmigiana, penne, meat balls. Everything was outstanding. Everyone cleaned their plates and many had seconds. We even had enough left overs for team lunch the next day. Highly recommend this option for teams. This was an absolute Grand Slam! Best meals of our week. Thank You to entire staff at Ducati's."
